A day in the bath ship ParadIce

Winter on the Badeschiff begins on November 1 and ends on March 31. During this time, ParadEisische conditions prevail on the ship – on the most beautiful terraces of Vienna, you will find six ice rinks for curling, as well as the punch deck with “shelter” and outdoor pub including a buffet outside. Together with the three guest rooms inside the Badeschiff is the Badeschiff ParadICE.

The drinking hall is a guest room for ParadIce guests & a ballroom on the bathing ship, a place for social gatherings and other events. Where bathers and sun-seekers cavort in summer, the staves are chased on six curling rinks. Punch and mulled wine, goulash soup, chili, french fries & Co spread a wintry scent and the ice master takes the guests to ParadIce with schnapps & Co.

Ice swimming in the Badeschiff

For the first time, this winter there will also be ice swimming in the Badeschiff pool – among others with the Weld record holder Josef Köberl as an ice swimming coach. And the Volxküche is also new: in cooperation with Volkshilfe, Speisen-ohne-Grenzen, and Badeschiff Wien, social warmth is given plenty of space on the ship during cold days.

Hut fun and après ice

In the “Schutzhütte” and in Pub #1 the motto is “Hüttengaudi” with class, punk, and rock’n’roll – for the Moarschaften and Eischwimmer*innen as “Après-Ice” offer and for all other guests who do not want to miss this fun.
