ITALIAN STREET FOOD FESTIVAL

June 14-15, 2025, 11 am -2 pm

The Italian Street Food Festival, organized by True Italian, celebrates authentic Italian street food specialties from north to south: arancini, pizza, gnocchi, supplì, porchetta, arrosticini, lasagne, artisanal gelato, cannoli, bignè, tiramisù, pistachio brioche, and more - including many vegetarian and vegan options. The event has been held in Osthafen since 2018 and brings together around 20 vendors, including Italian food trucks, stalls, and well-known Italian restaurants from Berlin, all eager to spoil guests with delicious street food.

Staatsoper für alle

June 22, 2025

On June 22, you can experience first-class classical music at the open-air event “Staatsoper für alle” on Bebelplatz in Berlin - and it's free! The open-air program starts on Saturday with the opera broadcast of Charles Gounod's Roméo et Juliette. This will be followed on Sunday by live concerts by the Staatskapelle Berlin under the direction of Christian Thielemann. The Staatskapelle will be playing Brahms' Symphonies Nos. 1 and 3, while the Opera Children's Orchestra will be setting the mood with works by Tchaikovsky from 11:30 am. Bring a blanket and snacks and enjoy an unforgettable summer of classical music in the open air!
