Classic Open Air at Gendarmenmarkt

17. - 21. July 2025

The Classic Open Air Festival began its successful future in 1992 with a fantastic concert by star tenor José Carreras on one of Germany's most beautiful squares, the Gendarmenmarkt. On five evenings in July, popular classical and modern melodies can be heard here under the stars, framed by the magnificent classical architecture of the Konzerthaus, the French Cathedral and the German Cathedral. If you don't want to buy tickets for the indoor area, you can take a folding chair, blanket, and picnic basket to the surrounding sidewalks.

World Heritage Horseshoe Settlement (Hufeisensiedlung)

23. - 26. July 2025

The Hufeisensiedlung Britz is celebrating 100 years since the foundation stone was laid, as part of 650 years of Britz. There will be concerts, readings, films and exhibitions to mark the anniversary of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The highlight is the “Hufeisen Fest” on July 26 with walking concerts, architectural tours, and a picnic on the Hufeisenwiese.
