EasyCityPass Vienna tips: May 2026

The spring season is already in full swing at our EasyCityPass Vienna discount partners as well. You should definitely visit the following Viennese attractions in May: WestLicht. Venue for Photography, which will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, the climbing wall at the Flakturm at the Haus des Meeres—the outdoor season has begun here as well—the KunstHausWien - Museum Hundertwasser, not only for its permanent exhibition but also for its special temporary exhibitions, and last but not least, for all train enthusiasts, the Schwechat Railway Museum.

Climbing wall on the anti-aircraft tower

The new season kicked off in April at the climbing wall on the anti-aircraft tower at the Haus des Meeres. On the former anti-aircraft tower, right next to the Haus des Meeres, you can climb high in the heart of the city—with various routes for beginners and advanced climbers alike. It’s an active outdoor experience with a unique view of Vienna.

70th Eurovision Song Contest

May 11–16, 2026

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Vienna for the third time in May 2026, with live shows on May 12, 14, and 16, 2026. The Stadthalle in Vienna can accommodate up to 16,000 people and was selected as the venue over Innsbruck. This year’s theme for the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna is “United by Music.” Cosmó will represent Austria with “Tanzschein.” Germany will be represented by Sarah Engels with “Fire.”
