Ahrensfelder Berge
The Ahrensfelder Berge in Marzahn-Hellersdorf are the fourth-highest elevation in Berlin. From here you can even spot the TV tower. No wonder: the western peak of the Ahrensfelder Berge measures 114.5 meters. The mountains originated as narrow ramparts and, at around 67 meters, were almost half as high as they are today. Since the ramparts were used as a construction waste dump in the 80s - 90s, the mountains grew slowly but steadily. With the fall of the Berlin Wall, the site of the landfill was closed and the extensive transformation of the landscape park began.

Drachenberg (Dragon Mountain)
Little brothers and sisters can sometimes be annoying. The little brother of the Teufelberg is the Drachenberg (Dragon Mountain) and with its 99 meters, it doesn't have to hide behind its big brother at all. Due to the less dense forestation, it offers a special view over the city at any time of day or year. Sunsets here offer a very special city panorama. By the way, the Drachenberg got its name from the Berliners, who especially like to fly their kites here.

Humboldthöhe
In the middle of the district Wedding lies the Volkspark Humboldthain. Surrounded by major highways, the park is a sprawling natural setting with a variety of idyllic spots. Due to the many mountains of rubble, there are many hills from which you have a special view over Berlin. The northernmost rubble mountain is about 85 meters high. At sunrises and sunsets, the view is particularly beautiful.

Klunkerkranich
A shopping center as a viewing platform? Yes, in Neukölln there is a very special perspective on Berlin from the Neukölln Arcaden. Also known as the Kulturdachgarten (cultural roof garden), this vantage point is the perfect place to soak up the view of Berlin in good weather with a tasty drink and good company. The Klunkerkranich is a bar, beer garden, and open-air location all in one. Attention: in winter the cranes move south and the Klunkerkranich is on winter break.

Kreuzberg with Viktoriapark
The Kreuzberg is Berlin's highest inner-city elevation and has been used as a vineyard since the 15th century. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy the view over the streets of Berlin here at 66 meters. In summer, the many trees around it provide a bit of shade but also block the view somewhat. On the other hand, the water in the wild waterfall flows through the rocky backdrop and encourages one or the other to climb. Those who make it up the winding paths to the monument can sit on the steps, relax and enjoy the view.

Müggelturm
Once upon a time, the TV tower was supposed to be built in this area in Köpenick. As is well known, nothing came of it, because today the TV tower stands in Mitte at Alexanderplatz. Instead, there is now the Müggelturm. The white tower has stood on the small Müggelberg since 1960. An architectural competition initiated by the Berliner Zeitung brought in 32 designs. The design of a student collective from the Berlin-Weißensee Art Academy finally prevailed. The viewing platform is located at a height of around 115 meters, from where you can look out over Müggelsee and Teufelssee lakes, the surrounding forest landscape, and as far as BER airport. If you're into mountain hiking, there are plenty of other wonderful hiking and biking trails in the area.

Park Inn
Everybody always wants to be on top of the TV tower, how about if you could be really close to it? With the viewing terrace at the Park Inn Berlin am Alexanderplatz, you can. Take the elevator directly into the hotel lobby on the first floor, before you climb the last floors on foot. At a height of 120 meters, you can then watch the hustle and bustle of Alexanderplatz. The adjoining bar offers a selection of drinks. If that's not an insider tip for a real Berlin sundowner.

Wolkenhain (Cloud grove)
Above the clouds, freedom must be boundless... Well, this extraordinary viewpoint of Berlin is perhaps not quite so high. From an architectural point of view, however, it is definitely a highlight. Located directly in the Kienbergpark and adjacent to the Gardens of the World, the summit with a height of 102 meters is a very special construction. 170 processed steel nodes and supports are a real eye-catcher. The Cloud Grove is open in summer from sunrise and until sunset. In winter it is opened between 7:30 am and 7:30 pm.
