Kabarett Theater Distel

Politics, bureaucracy, and the madness of everyday life—DISTEL doesn’t hold back in taking them to task. The Berlin cabaret theater combines biting satire with sketches, parodies, and live music. Fun fact: DISTEL was founded in East Berlin in 1953. Despite censorship by the GDR leadership, it remained critical. In 1988, an entire show was even banned.
