Viennese Wit & Viennese Neighborhood Culture

SALON ANANAS is located in Vienna’s lively Ottakring district and is a hybrid of a concept store and a gallery. It sells books, postcards, posters, calendars, refrigerator magnets, and all sorts of “knickknacks”—often with a dash of Viennese charm, but sometimes without. The gallery features rotating exhibitions by artists from Vienna and around the world.

Ananas Kunstverlag was founded in Vienna in the summer of 2024 by Clemens Ettenauer.

Sustainability plays a central role. That is why the publishing house focuses on keeping shipping distances as short as possible, consistently avoids plastic packaging, and carefully selects the paper it uses with environmental sustainability in mind.

Ananas Gallery

SALON ANANAS is home to the Ananas Gallery—one of Vienna’s smallest galleries, with just 13 square meters of exhibition space spread across two rooms. The program features rotating exhibitions by illustrators and places a special focus on humorous and satirical art.
