The biggest highlight this year is definitely the start of construction of the U5 station Frankhplatz. The U2xU5 public transport extension is Vienna's largest climate protection and infrastructure project in the coming decade! More than 300 million additional public transport users are possible with the expansion. In addition, our barrier-free Flexity bim fleet is growing.

If you add up the length of all 162 lines of the Vienna Lines, the total length is an incredible 1,152 kilometers. That is the same as the crow flies from Vienna to Monaco. Vienna, by the way, has the 6th longest streetcar network in the world.
