The sunset. In the winter months, the view from the panorama café is simply magical. Enjoying the sun's rays with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. This is how I imagine the perfect end to a day of sightseeing in Berlin. 

What detail is often overlooked but worth looking for?

Our outdoor exhibition BERLINER BLICKE (Berlin views). The history of Potsdamer Platz is written on large panels, along the walls. The view is clearly in the foreground for our guests. The exhibition is sometimes overlooked but is worth paying attention to.

Is it possible to visit the Panoramapunkt Berlin in any weather?

Absolutely! When the sun is shining, the surrounding roofs really glitter. When the sky is cloudy, the clouds are close enough to touch. In the fog, the city looks like it's wrapped in cotton candy. Even when it's stormy, I like to drive up there. Then I feel like I'm on the set of a Hollywood movie.

Can I automatically visit the café when I visit?

Yes, of course. A piece of cake or glass of crémant in the panorama café is a must. Both together also tastes great.
