- Unfortunately not
That would be nice. However, Halloween is not a public holiday in any federal state. However, Reformation Day also begins on October 31. This means that Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia as well as Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, and Schleswig-Holstein do have the day off and a public holiday. Unfortunately, Berlin does not.
