Helmet on, engine on, permanent grin! In these unique hotrods, you become the main attraction and Berlin the backdrop! You will drive in "motorized soapboxes" along the most famous landmarks of Berlin and experience the city from a whole new perspective. We start on the legendary RAW grounds with a ride over the Modersohn Bridge. Along the East Side Gallery, where history was written, we head towards Alexanderplatz. Via Gendarmenmarkt to Potsdamer Platz to Brandenburg Gate, you get a great impression of the capital. Whether you are a Berliner or a guest, you have never experienced the city from this perspective! The vehicles

The Hotrods have 14 hp, an automatic transmission, drive up to 88 km/h fast, and of course, have a road permit and TÜV! Safety first! Helmets and hygienic bandanas are included in the price. These extraordinary vehicles are a childhood dream come true not only for car enthusiasts.

The sights

The tour starts at the RAW site. The tour takes you across the Modersohn Bridge, along the East Side Gallery, Berlin Wall, Alexanderplatz, Hackescher Markt, Brandenburg Gate and Fischerinsel.

Important notes

Anyone with a normal class B driver's license is allowed to drive, and who is of course sober at the start of the trip. Please bring your driver's license with you. Maximum height is 2.00 m and maximum body weight is 130 kg. Please wear suitable footwear (flip flops or similar are not recommended).

• 0.0 per mille! Anyone who appears drunk will not be allowed to ride and will not receive a refund.
• Please be with us at least 20 minutes before the start of the tour
• Be sure to use Google Maps to find us, as Revaler Str. 99 refers to the entire area
• All participants will receive a detailed briefing before the start of the tour.
• Season is March to November
• In case of heavy rain, the tour will be canceled for safety reasons and the price will be refunded. In case of drizzle we ride at our discretion and the participants will receive rain ponchos.

Times

A hotrod tour can be booked daily at 9:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00, and 19:00 on-site (no other times possible). Ideally, however, you should book online (even at short notice) to choose your preferred time and start without having to wait.

Ideal group size: 4 - 12 people

Larger groups than 12 participants + guides do not make it through traffic light phases, are confusing and always come to a standstill. Unfortunately, the fun of driving falls by the wayside. We therefore always ride with a maximum of 6 participants per guide. This means, for example, 8 participants with 2 guides. Please simply book the group yourself on the desired day at the desired time. A maximum of 12 pax can be booked per tour. If there are more participants, 2 consecutive slots can be booked.

If a date is not bookable, it is not available/already booked. Simply enter the code in the shopping cart during the booking process - the discount will be deducted immediately. Individual participants can be canceled completely free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. Up to 24 hours in advance, a 50% cancellation fee will be charged. Cancellation is no longer possible after this time.

Security deposit

Please have the per-vehicle deposit ready.
A deposit is generally required in the event of damage to the vehicle caused by the driver (e.g., through inattention, disregard for traffic rules, use of a cell phone while driving, etc.). This deposit is normally €1,500 and can be paid on site by credit card, debit card, or cash. (It is possible to reduce the deposit to €500). If no damage has been caused, the deposit will of course be returned!

Reduction of deposit/liability:
Before starting your journey, you have the option of reducing the liability limit to €500 by making a one-time payment of €20. In the event of damage, only €500 is payable, regardless of the amount of damage.

Deposit for groups
A group only ever has to pay a deposit of €3,000, regardless of whether there are 2 or 12 drivers. If the optional reduced deposit of €1,000 is chosen, all participants must pay the one-time additional payment of €20 for the reduction.

If anyone in the group does not want to do this, they will be treated as an individual and will only pay the deposit for themselves.

Example calculation:
A Mini Hotrod costs over €20,000!

If damage amounting to €500 is caused, €1,000 of the deposit will be returned. If damage of more than €3,000 is caused, a maximum of €1,500 will be payable.

The reduced excess will be forfeited in the event of deliberate disregard of traffic rules or instructions. If this causes damage, the entire amount of the damage will be charged. Examples: A participant overtakes the group, drives aggressively or at excessive speed.
