Feel-Good Oasis in the Middle of the 5th District

Although the business is called homesick (Heimweh), it creates homeliness. That is probably due to the fluffy textiles from the Vorarlberg company David Fussenegger. And adorable Nordic home accessories. Once upon a time, the high rooms, raw brick walls and the large arched windows invited you to a glass of wine in an old tavern at 81 Wiedner Hauptstrasse. What Sonja Ladstätter-Fussenegger does doesn't usually backfire. As the person responsible for the creation of the Vorarlberg textile company David Fussenegger for many years, she knows what is well received. Sonja has created a special place away from short-lived trends with the homesick shop: bright, friendly, an oasis of wellbeing in the middle of Vienna. Here, rare, regional handicraft meets selected, mostly Nordic, home accessories.

Home is where your heart is

Next to the picnic blanket from the country is a thermos from House Doctor, next to the colorful upholstery cover there are scarves from Italy. Mainly home accessories from Nordic labels were chosen by Sonja Ladstätter-Fussenegger - making the boundary between homesickness and wanderlust indistinguishable. Small boxes and boxes, cards and candlesticks, napkins, dishes, lots of things around the table from ferm, a brand from Denmark.
