Kabarett Simpl was started in 1912 as a beer cabaret ‘Simplicissimus’ in Vienna. In the 1920s and 30s it attracted cabaret greats such as Fritz Grünbaum and Karl Farkas. Today, it is one of the most successful and important cabaret stages in the German-speaking world.
