During the general renovation of the Theater an der Wien, the MusikTheater an der Wien will move into Hall E in the MuseumsQuartier (MQ).
The chamber opera house is located in the heart of Vienna. For 60 years it is a fixed component of the cultural life in Vienna. Since 2012/13 the opera house is the most traditional chamber in the Austrian city. Different Viennese chamber opera artists shape its diverse spectrum of music performances.
With the foundation of the young ensemble of the opera house in Vienna, they have already six rising artists. The “small” house is the perfect starting point for young artists who wants to collect experiences.
